Brittney Zamora Racing

About Brittney #99in19 and #52in19

At 20 years old Brittney Zamora has achieved multiple Track Championships and was named the 2018 NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Washington State Rookie of the Year. Following in the footsteps of father Mike Zamora, Brittney is a second-generation driver that started racing at the age of five. Brittney's resume includes racing go-carts, mini stocks, late model and will now be starting her fourth season in Super Late Models (SLM) in the Northwest SLM Series.

Last year was a remarkable season for Brittney with opportunities opening with Toyota Racing Development (TRD) and the Kulwicki Driver Development Program (KDDP).

  • TRD  provided a three-race deal to drive one of their prepared Late Models at selected tracks. TRD also selected her to be one of eight drivers to participate in a three day combine that ended with a series of four 75-lap qualifying races. The top two from each of the two qualifiers faced off in a 50-lap, four-driver championship race. Brittney finished second in the Championship Race.

  • Was one of seven participants competing for the KDDP championship title. The KDDP is a program established by the family of late NASCAR Champion Alan Kulwicki to help worthy drivers along the way in reaching their dream while at the same time keeping Alan Kulwicki's memory and legacy alive. The program aided in several different ways. It provided financial support in covering operational expenses, transportation costs, entry fees and assistance with necessary equipment. It also provided other resources such as sponsorship, publicity and business education and industry networking and relationship building.

  • Selected to participate in the NASCAR Drive for Diversity Driver Development Combine for the second straight year.

Brittney’s biggest honor of the year came when NASCAR awarded her the 2018 Wendell Scott Trailblazer Award. Wendell Scott had a huge impact on NASCAR and introduced a new fan base to racing and was largely responsible for the diversification programs that are in NASCAR today. Scott was inducted into the International Motorsports Hall of Fame in 1999 and the NASCAR Hall of Fame in 2015.

For 2019 Brittney will be competing in the K&N Pro Series West and selected East events for Bill McAnally Racing (BMR). Considered as one of the top teams in the K&N Pro Series, BMR fields race winning cars and Championship winning teams. Follow along on our Race Schedule Page for full results.

Brittney will also race her own Super Late Model at selected races in 2019. The number 52 Brittney Zamora Racing (BZR) team car is built by Mike Zamora. The BZR Super Late Model is not only a race proven winner but with her behind the wheel it is a two-time championship winning car.

On track or off-track Brittney is a rising star looking to reach her full potential of winning at each level that she competes. The 2019 #99in19 season has started.
